Joirov lost to another Indian boxer, Amit Panghal, at the World Championships a couple of years ago.

News of the extraordinary success of an Indian boxer in the land of cricket, football. Indian boxer Deepak Kumar lost to Olympic gold medalist and world champion.

He defeated Uzbekistan’s world champion Shakhobiddin Zoirov in the 52 kg category. Deepak also reached the final of the Strandza Memorial Boxing Tournament.

Joirov lost to another Indian boxer, Amit Panghal, at the World Championships a couple of years ago. The Uzbek boxer also won the service title.

Needless to say, many could not have guessed that Deepak could win against Joirov. However, Deepak got such success by surprising the Indian boxing circuit. Earlier, Deepak had won silver at the Asian Games. He won the match 4-1 against Jairov.

Deepak lost to Darislav Vasilev of Bulgaria in the quarter finals of the current tournament. The glory of that victory is not less. Vasilov is a strong enough opponent. On the day of Deepak’s success, however, the Indian women boxers were disappointed.
